Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase products from the twentytwo website.

Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Us

This website is operated by:

Teamwear Matters Ltd trading as twentytwo

9 Commonside

Walkley

Sheffield

S10 1GA

Company Registration No: 16407656

VAT Registration No: GB 875 0667 92

Email: [email protected]

Throughout these terms, "twentytwo", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Teamwear Matters Ltd trading as twentytwo.

"You" and "your" refer to the person placing an order with us.

2. These Terms

These terms apply to purchases made through our website.

If you are purchasing wholly or mainly for business purposes, including on behalf of a company, club or other organisation, separately agreed business terms may also apply.

If there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and mandatory rights you have under consumer law, your statutory rights will take priority.

3. Our Products

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes, prices and other information shown on our website are accurate.

However:

  • Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.
  • Sizing may vary between manufacturers.
  • Product packaging and minor design details may change.
  • Supplier stock and availability can change without notice.

Please check product descriptions and size guides carefully before ordering, particularly where an item is going to be personalised.

4. Personalised & Customised Products

Many of our products can be customised using printing, embroidery or other decoration.

Personalisation may include:

  • Names
  • Initials
  • Player or squad numbers
  • Club badges
  • Sponsor logos
  • Team names
  • Printed or embroidered artwork
  • Other customer-specific decoration

You are responsible for checking that all information you provide is correct before submitting your order.

This includes spelling, numbers, colours, sizes, decoration type and placement.

Where you provide us with a logo, design, image or other artwork, you confirm that you have the necessary permission to use it for the purpose requested.

We reserve the right to refuse artwork or personalisation that we reasonably believe is unlawful, offensive or infringes another person's intellectual property rights.

5. Personalisation Errors

Please check all personalisation details carefully before placing your order.

If an item has been produced correctly according to the details you supplied, we cannot normally refund or replace it because:

  • A name was misspelt by the customer
  • An incorrect number was supplied
  • The wrong size was ordered
  • An incorrect decoration option was selected
  • The customer has subsequently changed their mind

This does not affect your rights where we have made an error or where the product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

6. Placing an Order

When you submit an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.

You will receive an order confirmation by email using the email address supplied during checkout.

Please check your order confirmation as soon as you receive it and contact us immediately if anything appears incorrect.

We may refuse or cancel an order where, for example:

  • A product is unavailable
  • We cannot obtain the product from our supplier
  • There is an obvious pricing or product information error
  • Payment has not been authorised
  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment
  • We cannot fulfil the requested personalisation
  • The order breaches these Terms & Conditions

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.

7. Product Availability

A number of products available through twentytwo are ordered from our suppliers after your order is received rather than being permanently held in stock.

All orders are therefore subject to supplier availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we may offer:

  • An alternative product
  • A revised delivery estimate
  • Cancellation of the affected item
  • A refund

We will not substitute a product with something materially different without your agreement.

8. Prices & VAT

All prices displayed on our website are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.

The total cost of your order, including delivery charges, will be shown before you place your order.

We may change prices at any time, but price changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.

If we discover an obvious pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you before fulfilling the affected item. You may either continue at the correct price or cancel the affected item for a full refund.

9. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods shown at checkout.

Payments are processed securely through Mollie and, where applicable, the relevant payment provider.

Available payment methods may include:

  • Debit and credit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

The methods available may depend on your device, order and approval by the relevant payment provider.

We do not normally receive or store your complete payment card details.

10. Delivery

Our current delivery areas, charges and estimated lead times are shown on our Delivery Information page and during checkout.

We currently deliver to:

  • UK Mainland
  • Northern Ireland
  • Scottish Highlands & Islands
  • Isle of Man
  • Isle of Wight

We do not currently deliver to the Channel Islands.

Our standard delivery charge is displayed during checkout.

Many products are sourced from suppliers following receipt of an order and personalised products require additional production time.

As a general guide:

  • Non-personalised products: approximately 1 to 2 weeks
  • Personalised products: approximately 3 to 4 weeks

These are estimates unless a particular delivery date has expressly been agreed.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you.

11. Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please check your delivery information carefully before submitting your order.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

If an order is returned to us because an incorrect address was supplied or delivery could not be completed, an additional delivery charge may apply before the order is sent again.

12. Store Collection

Where available, you may choose FREE Store Collection during checkout.

twentytwo
9 Commonside
Walkley
Sheffield
S10 1GA

Collection is available Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Please wait until we have confirmed that your order is ready before travelling to collect it.

We may ask for your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase when you collect your order.

13. Risk & Ownership

Products remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you, collected by you or received by another person you have nominated to receive them.

Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full and the products have been delivered or collected.

14. Cancelling Standard, Non-Personalised Orders

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you normally have the right to cancel a standard, non-personalised order without giving a reason.

You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

The easiest way to cancel is to email:

[email protected]

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • The item or items you wish to cancel
  • A clear statement confirming that you wish to cancel

You do not have to give us a reason.

You may alternatively use the Cancellation Form available at the bottom of this page, but you are not required to use the form.

15. Personalised Products & Cancellation

The normal change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods that have been made to your specification or clearly personalised.

This includes products customised specifically for you with names, initials, numbers, badges, team names, sponsor logos, printing, embroidery or other customer-specific decoration.

If you contact us before personalisation or production has started, we may be able to cancel or amend your order, but we cannot guarantee this.

Simply ordering a standard, non-personalised garment from one of our suppliers does not by itself make that product personalised.

Your statutory rights still apply where a personalised product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly produced or not as described.

16. Returns

Standard, non-personalised products may be returned in accordance with your cancellation rights.

Returned products should be:

  • Unworn and unused other than being tried on as you reasonably would in a shop
  • Unwashed
  • In their original condition
  • Returned with tags and original packaging where reasonably possible

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning change-of-mind purchases unless we have agreed otherwise.

You are entitled to handle a product sufficiently to determine its nature, characteristics and fit. If it has been handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop and its value has been reduced, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund.

Please see our Returns & Refunds page for full instructions.

17. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

For a valid cancellation of standard goods, we will refund:

  • The price paid for the returned products
  • The original standard delivery charge, where applicable

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are only required to refund an amount equal to the least expensive standard delivery service offered.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.

Where we are not collecting the goods ourselves, we may wait until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence that they have been sent back, whichever happens first.

Any refund due will then be made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory period.

18. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Products supplied by us must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly personalised or different from what you ordered, please contact:

[email protected]

Please include your order number and details of the issue. Photographs may help us investigate the problem more quickly.

Your statutory consumer rights are separate from the change-of-mind rights described elsewhere in these terms.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes those statutory rights.

19. Returns Address

Unless we have instructed you otherwise, authorised returns should be sent to:

twentytwo
9 Commonside
Walkley
Sheffield
S10 1GA

We recommend obtaining proof of postage and using an appropriate tracked service.

Please contact us before returning faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods so that we can advise you on the appropriate arrangements.

20. Promotions & Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional codes, discounts or other offers.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Offers cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Promotional codes must be entered during checkout
  • Codes cannot normally be applied retrospectively
  • Offers may have expiry dates or product restrictions
  • We may withdraw or amend promotions where reasonably necessary

Any specific terms provided with a promotion will take precedence over this section.

21. Customer Accounts

You may be able to create an account on our website.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Keeping your login details confidential
  • Informing us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission

We may suspend an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently or unlawfully.

22. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including our branding, photographs, graphics, text and website design, is owned by or licensed to Teamwear Matters Ltd unless otherwise stated.

Third-party trademarks, club badges, manufacturer branding and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

You may use our website for normal personal shopping purposes but must not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our content without permission.

23. Information & Artwork You Supply

Where you upload or otherwise provide artwork, logos, photographs, names or other material for personalisation, you confirm that you are entitled to provide that material for the requested purpose.

We may refuse to reproduce material where we reasonably believe doing so could:

  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Breach applicable law
  • Be fraudulent
  • Be defamatory
  • Be threatening, discriminatory or otherwise seriously offensive

24. Our Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

This includes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Your statutory consumer rights
  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.

25. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Postal or courier disruption
  • Supplier delays
  • Severe weather
  • Transport disruption
  • Fire or flooding
  • Industrial action
  • Government action
  • Telecommunications or internet failures
  • Other events that we could not reasonably prevent

If such an event materially affects your order, we will contact you and explain the options available.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

26. Privacy & Cookies

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

This explains:

  • What information we collect
  • Why we use it
  • Who we may share it with
  • How long we retain it
  • Your data protection rights
  • How cookies and similar technologies are used

27. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a product or any aspect of our service, please contact us:

Email: [email protected]

Post:
Teamwear Matters Ltd t/a twentytwo

We will try to resolve complaints fairly and as quickly as reasonably possible.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, services or legal requirements.

The terms applying to your purchase will normally be those in force when your order is placed.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

29. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

30. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and contracts between you and us are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory rights available to you and may normally bring proceedings in the courts applicable where you live.
